Sports programming is offered for kids as young as 16 months through this company. Available options include soccer, t-ball, multi-sport and, for kids 16 months to three years, Parent & Child classes that let you participate with your little one.
Trinity Community Recreation Centre
This rec centre offers all kinds of programs, from dance to music to floor hockey and has a special pool just for little kids. The Registered Programs tab contains a list of, surprise, programs that require registration while the Drop-In Program tab is for those of us who aren’t into schedules (the fun swim times can be found on this page).
Trinity-Spadina Ontario Early Years Centre Calendar
Located inside Artscape Youngplace at 180 Shaw (just north of Queen), this OEYC offers various programming including drop-in hours.
The Docks Drive-In
Reopens on the Victoria Day long weekend; ideal for seeing a movie when you have a baby
Stars and Strollers
Movies are screened in a baby-friendly environment at various Cineplex theatres, including most Thursday afternoons at the Yonge and Dundas location. Read about my Stars and Strollers experience here.
Baby’s Corner (762 College St)
An old-school store that offers modern baby gear at competitive prices.
Baby On The Hip (786 College St & 969 Queen St E) Both sides on the city are home to this eco-conscious shop.
Love Me Do Baby (50 Lynn Williams St) In addition to the usual cute offerings, this Liberty Village shop offers in-store events and sells replacement parts (including the illusive tubes) for Medela pumps.
This Little Piggy (1594 Queen St W)
Parkdale’s baby shop is packed with everything from swaddling solutions to toddler-wear.
